The DreamGlow Night Light Projector comes with 3 replaceable slide discs: 🌕 Moon — a soft, detailed full moon projection perfect for a calming bedtime glow. 🌌 Galaxy — a beautiful swirling starry galaxy that makes any ceiling feel magical. 🪐 Saturn — a stunning ringed planet projection that sparks curiosity and wonder. Simply pull out the slide tray, swap the disc, and push it back in — it takes seconds!
Can I use both the night light and projector at the same time?
The DreamGlow has two separate modes — Star Projection mode and Warm Night Light mode — but only one mode can be active at a time. You can easily switch between them with the one-touch button. The warm amber night light is perfect for feeds and nappy changes, while the star projection is ideal for settling baby or toddler to sleep.
Is it safe to use in a baby's room?
Absolutely! The DreamGlow is designed with little ones in mind. It produces no heat, no UV, and no harsh glare — just a soft, gentle warm glow or a soothing star projection. No batteries needed! 🙌 The DreamGlow plugs into any standard USB port — a USB wall adapter, a laptop, a power bank, or any USB extension lead. If you don't have a USB wall adapter, any standard 5V/1A adapter will work perfectly. We recommend plugging it into a power source near your little one's bed or beside the cot.
How do I adjust the projection angle?
The DreamGlow features a fully flexible 360° adjustable head and a bendable 180° gooseneck cable — so you can aim the projection at the ceiling, wall, or anywhere in between. Simply bend the neck and rotate the head until you find the perfect angle. It holds its position firmly once set.
What age is it suitable for?
The DreamGlow is suitable for babies and toddlers from around 6 months and up, and is especially loved by children aged 1–5 who are scared of the dark or struggle to settle at bedtime. How do I change the projection slide?
It's really simple! On the top of the DreamGlow projector head, push the small tray release, pull out the slide tray, swap in your preferred slide disc (Moon, Galaxy, or Saturn), and push the tray back in. The whole process takes less than 10 seconds. The 3 slide discs are included in the box — no extras to buy.
Will the light disturb my baby's sleep?
Not at all — that's exactly what the DreamGlow is designed for. The warm amber night light mode is a soft, low-intensity glow that's gentle on little eyes and won't interfere with melatonin production. The star projection mode is equally soft and soothing. Many parents find their baby or toddler actually settles faster with the projection on than in complete darkness.
Can I leave it on all night?
Yes! The DreamGlow is designed to be left on through the night if needed. Because it's USB-powered and produces no heat, it's completely safe to run overnight. Many parents use the warm night light mode on all night for young babies and switch to projection mode at bedtime for toddlers. Please ensure the USB cable is safely positioned away from baby's reach.
What do I need to plug it in?
The DreamGlow uses a standard USB-A connector and runs on 5V/1A power — the same as most phone chargers. Simply plug it into any USB wall adapter, laptop, power bank, or USB extension lead. If you don't already have a USB adapter, any standard 5V/1A phone charger will work perfectly.
My projection looks blurry — how do I fix it?
The DreamGlow has a focus adjustment ring on the top of the projector head. Simply rotate it slowly left or right until the projection sharpens to your liking. The ideal focus also depends on the distance from the ceiling or wall — experiment with the gooseneck angle to find the sharpest, clearest image for your space.
